What is etlmessenger?

etlmessenger is a data transformation and messaging application that performs extract-transform-load and incorporates a JMS messaging provider, HTTPS, SMTP, and FTP to move the transformed data. In August 2008 our technology was awarded substantial US  Patent protection, applied for in 2001, and further patents are pending and expected to be awarded in 2009 for the core technology utilised in etlmessenger.

etlmessenger utilises SQL and XML as core technologies and is compatible with all standardised relational databases and capable of extension to other file formats including flat file, VSAM, IMS, IDMS, and EDI.

etlmessenger utilises an intermediate data structure during transformation, which allows for manipulation of the data as it is transformed.

etlmessenger thoroughly implements industry standards such as SQL, XML, and uses the well-known Xerces library to facilitate XML validation and parsing, and CyberNeko for HTML parsing.  These libraries ensure that file validation for XML and HTML is robust and adheres to industry standards, for example.

In August 2008 the United States Patent and Trade Marks Office advised that patent protection of core etlmessenger  technologies, filed in 2001, will be allowed.
